The CertainT 100 - SSL Accelerator relieves Web servers of
performing CPU intensive Secure Socket Layer (SSL) calculations associated with common
applications such as shopping carts, financial reporting, and other secure transactions.
Performing these calculations can slow Web server performance, leading to inconsistent
user experience, and even downtime. Off loading these calculations to CertainT 100 relieves
Web server CPU's, effectively increasing their capacity, and increases the service's potential
number of Transactions Per Second (TPS).
